Over 30 winemakers Led by Tasting Australia 2017 ambassador Taras Ochota (Ochota Barrels), showcasing a spectacular selection of wine from around the country. Our best barrel of wild fermented Fiano will be poured, having experienced minimal intervention since being whole bunch pressed directly to the barrel.
Young, fresh, and served – in absolute copiousness – siphoned straight from the barrel by the winemaker into your glass.
This is an exclusive insight into the world of low intervention winemaking, and an opportunity to meet the craftsmen at the helm who have precisely blended the season’s pick, no more than weeks off the vine from vineyards around the country.

Sam Scott will be a guest barman at the legendary Pepe Cucina, between 6:30pm and 8pm, on Wednesday 30th November, sharing tastings of his favourite wines and tales from the vineyard and cellar. A complimentary glass of their chosen wine will then be served to diners when they sit down for their meal.
Chef/owner Salvatore Pepe says Wine Wednesdays at Pepe Cucina is a way for diners to get some insight into why these winemakers’ products are such a good match for the Italian flavours he is famous for creating in the kitchen.
“Wine and food are inseparable on the Italian table,” he said.
“This is a great way for our customers to meet some of the best winemakers we have in the state and understand why we have chosen them for our list – and all for the cost of a regular meal at Pepe Cucina.”
Bookings are highly recommended. Call Pepe Cucina on 83798991. Tastings commence at 6.30pm through until 8pm and are open only to customers dining at Pepe Cucina. Each guest will receive tastings and one glass of their chosen wine once seated. More information here.
